Shade ‘N’ Sails is an Australian company that specialises in designing, manufacturing and installing shade products. The company was established in 1999 to provide durable shade products for both the domestic and commercial markets.  With over 150 combined years in the industry and a focus on exceptional customer service and communication, Shade ‘N’ Sails has grown rapidly, servicing both the Australian and global markets.

Shade ‘N’ Sails offer a wide range of shade and waterproof structures, designed to suit any situation and budget. From a simple four-sided shade sail to a waterproof structure complete with stainless steel edge cables and galvanised or powder coated steelwork – Shade ‘N’ Sails can create whatever you need.

Their custom-built factory in Ballarat is equipped to produce a range of products, including fabric patterning, cutting and marking of panels on our plotter cutter, HF and wedge welding, sewing, laser cutting of corner clamping plates, steel work design and fabrication and installation. The team works with fully qualified engineers who specialise in this specific field of Tensile Structures. Their engineers utilise Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Form Finding software.
